Administrative Assistant - Collections Department

Placed under the authority of the head of the collections department, the incumbent is responsible for assisting the staff of the department in the administrative, legal and financial missions falling within their competence. To this end, he manages the department's mail and schedules and provides telephone reception. He is required to carry out files, write documents, prepare decisions. In financial and accounting terms, it monitors the budget allocated to the department and carries out preparatory operations for the commitment and payment of the expense in close collaboration with the administrative department of the museum.

Visitor Experience Manager

The Marketing and Public department is in charge of welcoming, studying and developing the museum's public with the aim of increasing attendance and own resources. It is the meeting point between the museum and its audiences. It defines the general public policy in conjunction with the other departments. He also manages the museum's commercial missions, whether they are managed internally or delegated.

Placed under the authority of the head of the Marketing and Public Department, the Visitor Experience department manager's mission is to direct the activity of his department. These activities cover the reception and information of the different categories of public, the supervision of reception and ticketing spaces, the sale and reservation of the cultural offer, the management of the quality of service as well as the management of the multi-service contract for reception, sales and reservation services.

Public Procurement Manager

The administrative department performs the administrative support functions of the entire institution in the HR, financial and legal fields. It is composed of two services: the financial and legal department and the HR department.

Under the authority of the Head of the Finance and Legal Department, the incumbent is responsible for implementing the consultation and tendering procedures, from the constitution of the file to the notification of the contract. In particular, he ensures the drafting of business consultation files and ensures the legal security of the purchasing procedures. He is in contact with all the services of the museum (Paris and Ports) that he assists in the definition of their needs and to whom he brings his legal expertise.

He joins a team including 5 agents.

Supervisory and maintenance officer / Château de Brest

Under the authority of the administrator and the Technical / Security Officer, within the monitoring and maintenance team, the surveillance and maintenance officer oversees the museum tour (personal safety). and security of works).
If there is no surveillance service, it provides the museum with regular maintenance (painting, outdoor spaces, etc.) and takes part in the assembly and dismantling of the temporary exhibitions.

Collection Manager

Under the authority of the Head of Collection Management, the incumbent is responsible for the preservation, presentation, valorization and enrichment of the museum's collections, particularly in the fields of armaments and of modern naval history.

He participates in the inventory and the collection of the objects in his areas of intervention. He ensures all research and participates in any publication related to the collections studied. In addition, he participates in the monitoring of the collections of the Ports Museums.

The collections manager integrates a team that ultimately includes 15 agents (department manager, conservators, stage managers and collections managers).
