Market of Rungis
The International Market of Rungis, with an area of 234 hectares at the gates of Paris, is a veritable ecosystem at the service of the French food, the urban logistics of fresh, the valorization of our terroirs and our gastronomic heritage, the maintenance of specialized retail trade and the animation of city centers. The tide sector on Rungis hosts 48 companies, 835 employees, represented a turnover of 880 million in 2014, for nearly 100 000 tons of supplies of seafood and fresh water.
Created in 1965, SEMMARIS is the Managing Company of the Rungis International Market, whose main missions are the development, operation, marketing and promotion of the Rungis Market infrastructure. SEMMARIS realized in 2014 a turnover of 100 millions of euros and employs 213 collaborators.
