Three lectures to accompany the exhibition L'habit (re) fait l'histoire
The temporary exhibition The habit (re) makes the story will end the 6 November. It is about history, creativity, know-how and we propose to go further on this chapter of textile mastery through three conferences on embroidery and the Navy.
The Museum invites three high-flying specialists to discuss the history and the actuality of very maritime textile practices.

Uniform sailors and haute-couture
Delphine Allanic-Costa, co-commisaire exposure Sailors make fashion the Marine Museum in Paris in 2009, will address old and many links between the uniforms of sailors and high fashion.

Embroidery and creation
Pascal Jaouen, embroiderer, stylist and teacher, will present his work, between tradition and creation.
