Port Louis: 4 centuries of fortifications
From the first fort built in 1591 to recent fortifications, this exhibition traces, through models, maps and maps, the history of the defense of the harbor of Lorient through different themes such as, evolution cartography, the engineers of the fortifications and the cartographers of the navy, the defense of the harbor, intelligence and espionage ...
For the occasion, two models, including a tactile one, were realized.
