Public Procurement Manager

The administrative department performs the administrative support functions of the entire institution in the HR, financial and legal fields. It is composed of two services: the financial and legal department and the HR department.

Under the authority of the Head of the Finance and Legal Department, the incumbent is responsible for implementing the consultation and tendering procedures, from the constitution of the file to the notification of the contract. In particular, he ensures the drafting of business consultation files and ensures the legal security of the purchasing procedures. He is in contact with all the services of the museum (Paris and Ports) that he assists in the definition of their needs and to whom he brings his legal expertise.

He joins a team including 5 agents.

Head of Marketing and Studies

Placed under the authority of the Head of the Marketing and Public Department, the Head of the Marketing and Studies Department is responsible for directing the activity of his department. These activities include audience evaluation and associated strategic thinking, financial and statistical analyzes of attendance, operational and cultural marketing, management of space rentals, restaurants and shops. This service defines the museum's pricing policy. He eventually supervises a team of 6 agents (responsible for marketing and studies, responsible for rentals and development manager shops and restaurant).

Shop Manager

Under the authority of the head of the Marketing and Studies department, the head of the shops is in charge of the following missions:
At the level of the shops of the Ports Museums:
• Participate in the coordination of the commercial policy of the museum's shops by linking the needs expressed by each store manager in the Ports Museums and the suppliers;
• Promote a common marketing policy reflecting the "Musée de la Marine" brand in the network of shops and in connection with the production department.

At the level of the refoundation project of the National Maritime Museum in the Palais de Chaillot:
• Assist the Marketing and Public Department in the deployment for the implementation of the DSP of the shops and the restaurant, in anticipation of the reopening on 2022 horizon.
The head of the shops has a team that includes 7 agents (head of department, marketing and studies manager, rentals manager and pilot of the restaurant and catering business).

Supervisory and maintenance officer / Château de Brest

Under the authority of the administrator and the Technical / Security Officer, within the monitoring and maintenance team, the surveillance and maintenance officer oversees the museum tour (personal safety). and security of works).
If there is no surveillance service, it provides the museum with regular maintenance (painting, outdoor spaces, etc.) and takes part in the assembly and dismantling of the temporary exhibitions.

Collection Manager

Under the authority of the Head of Collection Management, the incumbent is responsible for the preservation, presentation, valorization and enrichment of the museum's collections, particularly in the fields of armaments and of modern naval history.

He participates in the inventory and the collection of the objects in his areas of intervention. He ensures all research and participates in any publication related to the collections studied. In addition, he participates in the monitoring of the collections of the Ports Museums.

The collections manager integrates a team that ultimately includes 15 agents (department manager, conservators, stage managers and collections managers).
