Spread over five sites, the museum's collections are characterized by their diversity, models ranging from a few centimeters wide 1, navigational instruments, naval sculptures, figurehead, paintings, arsenals machinery and shipbuilding, valuable works ...

A diversity partly accessible on the internet with the online collection.

Online Collections

- To give access to the jewels of the collections exhibited both in Paris and in the museums of Brest, Port Louis, Rochefort and Toulon.

- To account for the diversity of maritime heritage and culture by drawing on the scientific work carried out during the last temporary exhibitions.

- To discover fragile pieces whose long-term exposure is problematic (textiles, drawings, prints or photographs).

A selection that is destined to be enriched over the months to offer a wide panorama of preserved collections.
