Absolute reference in the field of Haute Horlogerie, the Breguet brand belongs more widely to our cultural heritage, a unique position that is due to the inventive spirit of its founder, Abraham-Louis Breguet (1747-1823) today. Breguet is appreciated in all the courses of Europe and becomes the watchmaker of reference of the diplomatic, scientific, military and financial elites.

Abraham-Louis Breguet becomes a member of the 1814 Longitudes Bureau and then Royal Navy Watchmaker in 1815. Year in which he presented the chronometer of marine, entered the Academy of Sciences and was awarded the Legion of Honor by King Louis XVIII. When he dies in 1823, everyone salutes in him a character who, by his genius, has revolutionized all facets of watchmaking.
