The architecture and the organization of this old building of 400 years and its surroundings make difficult the conformity of the museum to all the handicaps. The site is classified as Historic Monuments and some places can not be made accessible.

The interior and exterior of the citadel may not be suitable for people with visual, mental or psychological disabilities. Interior spaces are accessible to people with motor or hearing disabilities.

The outdoor spaces of the citadel are difficult to access for people with reduced mobility and people with visual disabilities (slopes, pavements, gravelled courses, grassed areas, steps, etc.).
It is strongly recommended to be accompanied.

Work to improve the general accessibility of the museum is planned.
